New York City – digital firework meets a place of silence
The retail landscape could not be a bigger contrast in New York. The ARNO team made a trip to the Big Apple to trace the newest trends from the other side of the ocean and discovered a magnificent world. On the one side you can find digital high tech at all levels such as oversized LED tickers, mega screen walls and interactive mirrors to the degree of making people a compliment and a direct connection to Facebook and other social media. On the other side there are minimalistic store designs, reduced on the product staging and a pleasant shopping atmosphere without any trace of digital. In harmony with our five key design stages for the ultimate successful retail design of the future, we prefer a mix of added value technology as well as traditional store and POP design which is impressionable to the customer and the brand.
