ARNO x Birkenstock Cosmetics: Natural & Aesthetic

 

ARNO is renowned for its ability to showcase and strengthen brands through unique POS concepts. Birkenstock, known for their distinctive design and sustainability, chose ARNO to develop a special POS concept for their new Natural Care division - a logical step for a brand that focuses on quality and aesthetics.

 

The challenge was to create a design that both reflected the brand's natural aesthetic and sustainability, and worked in different retail environments. In close collaboration with Birkenstock, ARNO carried out an extensive design development and created a unique cosmetics counter ready for international roll-out.

Sustainable and modern

 

The choice of natural materials and curved lines gives the Birkenstock Natural Care cosmetics counter an organic and harmonious look. 
The genuine cork leather and moss underline the brand's ecological concept and give the customer a feeling of sustainability and naturalness.The cosmetic counter is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also functional and flexible. It can be used as a wall-mounted solution or as a free-standing unit, allowing it to adapt to different retail environments and space conditions.
 

Design challenges

 

Developing a cosmetic counter for Birkenstock Natural Care presented ARNO with several challenges. On the one hand, the design had to meet the brand's high standards and reflect natural aesthetics and sustainability. On the other hand, the POS concept had to be suitable for both wall-mounted and free-standing units and work in different retail environments. To meet these requirements, ARNO undertook extensive design development, testing different atmospheres and materials such as real cork, leather and moss. The functionality and flexibility of the cosmetics counter also had to be taken into account in order to allow optimal placement and presentation of the products.

Innovative solution and natural aesthetics

 

ARNO's response to the challenges of the development of the Birkenstock Natural Care cosmetics counter was an extensive design development. The result is a POS concept that perfectly reflects the brand and is suitable for international roll-out. The cosmetics counter combines natural materials such as real cork leather and moss with curved lines and a natural cork log in the centre of the stand-alone unit as a visual highlight. The cosmetic counter can be used flexibly as a wall solution or as a free-standing unit, allowing optimal product placement and presentation in different retail environments. The Birkenstock Natural Care cosmetics counter is therefore not only aesthetically pleasing, but also functional and sustainable.
